Tom completed his Masters of Osteopathy at RMIT in 2012 after completing a Bachelor of Applied Sciences – Complimentary Medicine. He started at Complete Health in 2013 and believes the relationship between clinical exercise and osteopathy to be very complimentary and provides each patient with a unique take on their particular issue. Tom is particularly interested in addressing causative factors such as poor ergonomics or repetitive work related tasks which can be the root cause to a lot of pain. Sometimes a simple change to a movement or an angle can make all the difference.
Tom enjoys working with his hands and making things, surfing when he gets a chance, and travelling wherever and whenever can.
Jena is a fully qualified and experienced Osteopath. She graduated in 2013 with Distinction from RMIT University. Since graduating Jena has also trained with the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) in 2018 and has completed their Equipment & Mat Pilates courses.
Jena’s goal as an osteopath is to empower patients to take responsibility for their own health, through understanding and education. She individualises every consult specifically to the person in front of her, because every ‘body’ is different. She believes that passive healthcare is complementary to self-care, so a combination of hands-on therapy, regular exercise/movement, feeding your body good things, and a positive mindset is key to a healthier you.
In her spare time, Jena is an amateur dancer (commercial jazz and the jive are her favourite styles) and loves musical theatre (CATS is her favourite). She has a crazy obsession with Pugs and hopes to have her own Pug baby in the near future!
